Add-on not connecting to my ftp
Hi,
I'm currently working on my own first youtube add-on and have setup my filezilla ftp server. I've tested the server using my external IP and it works well. However, while on kodi application my video add-on would not load. Believe it is not able to navigate to the files in my ftp site resulting in an error msg. It returns with the following error: "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time".
When I changed my url to my local host IP the addon works fine, but the problem arises when I change my url to my external IP(DNS).
I have also tried updating with my firewall turned off but no difference.
Not sure where to even start debugging. Any advice would greatly help. My Error log can be found in the link below:

Request - How to use netflix for kodi in China？
I use the kodi version of netflix in China, through the router proxy, mobile phones and computers can look at netflix normally, kodi version can be loaded to load the background image of the electronic TV drama information, but the kodi version can not play the video, loading after a few seconds is gone.
Is it because my agent is wrong, or I am missing other attachments.

I've installed kodi and openvpn on my Pi3 (running raspbian)
My laptop (when connected to the same vpn server) works with iplayer fine.
But iplayer WWW is giving me the message "available in UK only"
I've checked the pi is routing all traffic through the vpn with the command "curl ifconfig.me" which gives me the IP of the vpn.
Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Request - Stylized Netflix addon
I have been using the Netflix add-on from https://github.com/asciidisco/plugin.video.netflix for a while with the latest Kodi beta and it works fairly well. One thing that I would like is a UI that mimics the Netflix UI you get on Smart tvs, consoles, etc. The add-on just used the standard Kodi menu system right now.
Spotimc was a Spotify add-on that had its own interface to it. See screenshots in the first post in this thread: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=125147. It would be nice to have a custom Netflix UI, similar to how the Spotimc add-on had a custom UI.
I'm not sure if that would even be possible in Leia, or if there have been changes that make this impossible to do now.

Broken - [BUG] Einthusan doesnt work well with Kodi v18 Leia Beta
Tried this on xbox, android and Rpi. Videos skip every few seconds when watching einthusan. Other add ons I tried work fine.

Crackle addon not working

Am using kodi 17.6 in xenialpup64 ver 7.5 (puppy linux)
Installed crackle ver 2018.1.27 from the kodi repo in a brand new kodi directory with only crackle addon installed in it.
Getting a popup in the lower right corner saying Crackle error.
Kodi debug log on paste.kodi.tv
Tried crackle addon in windows, and getting the same error.
Maybe crackle changed their website?

Addon works on one and not on other platform
Hello everyone. New to this forum thought i would try and find out somthing thats been buggin me for months. I have 2 addons on my Kodi build that work perfectly on my Kodi desktop setup. But when i transfer my build to any of my stream boxes. These 2 addons wont work. I get the check log for more info message. Everything else in my build is working perfect. Just cant get these two addons to stop giving me that message, Again "only does it on my streambox" No error messages on my Kodi desktop setup. I have tried to clear catch ect with several different programs. I also am useing IP vanish. Does not matter with or without my VPN on. These 2 addons wont work for me. Also have updated all my resolvers. At my wits end on what to do? Other than just remove the 2 addons all together? Any one that could help greatly appreciate it. Thx

inputstream.adaptive MAXBANDWIDTH?
I'm seeing stalls in Netflix videos at some fairly well defined locations (e.g. 37:32 in "Land Girls" S1E1). Log. My internet download speeds are around 7Mb/s. Codec Info 2 (cntrl_shift+o) generally shows a video bitrate less than 5Mb/s. At the problem spot mentioned above, the indicated bitrate is 12.55Mb/s even though inputstream.adaptive has been configured with MAXIMUMBANDWIDTH as 6500000. It seems that either inputstream.netflix is not respecting that limit or Netflix isn't.
Is there a way for me to determine which?

Netflix default audio, video and subtitle settings

Well, I'm running the latest LibreELEC Beta on Odroid C2.
Netflix is running pretty smoothly, but it doesn't "remember" my audio/video/subtitle settings, so each time I load a new movie or series episode, I have to setup everything manually again.
I know this is a minor issue...Netflix is running fine, which is a great thing. However, it can become quite annoying.
Chewitt, from the LibreELEC forums, suggested that to workaround that the Netflix add-on would need to cache/remember the preferences and then instruct/configure Kodi appropriately when playback starts.
Anyway, is there any immediate workaround to this?

There is a new app on all services for local TV called LocalBTV.
At present only serves LA,SF, and Phoenix.
I am in Phoenix and the app works great, care to take a look at it.

Cant add source in Kodi
I just got a Pi with Raspbian stretch on it. I installed kodi on raspbian stretch. When I try to add source for video I get a prompt that says I haven't installed a pvr. I fix that by using iptvsimple but I still get an audible prompt with no message when adding a source and IT WON'T LET ME TYPE in a url. Any ideas?
Sorry I an a noobie to linix. I know nothing. I've simply followed online guides thus far.

Current status of All 4 / UK TV Play?
Sorry if this is answered elsewhere but I searched to no avail.
Now that Kodi has support for DRM, is there a working All4 Plugin?
I've also found a few guides online for a plugin that supports UK TV Play, but the guides were outdated and I couldn't get the plugin to work. Also not sure of its legitimacy given that it came from a third-party repo. Is this plugin legit? If so, Is there a thread somewhere with up-to-date instructions for installing it?

Request - video addon support
hi there i am currently using the exodus ver 8 addon and other varios addons as well, i recently noticed a change in the tv shows section, when i click networks, i choose the nbc network and i choose to watch america's got talent, upon choosing it, i am given a list of seasons of the show , 1 to 13 or 14 ,however there was not a season14 it dissappeared, i tried my other addons and season 14 was not there, same tv show networks section, it did have it at first and it just vanished, i realized that season 14 is showing on cable. can you tell me whats going on, all the other series on my addons are doing just fine, i am working and i am not able to catch season 14 on cable so i relies on the episodes of my kodi addon exodus etc.what kind of prblem is this, is it internal or external, i am from the carribbean trinidad.i dont mean to be a bother i just hope you all guys can help me, all my other shows have their seasons in order.I am a great fan of kodi, thanks in advance for your help.i dont know which way to receive a reply my email address is jerometsoi@gmail.com so iam going tosubscribe and receive email not. of new replies i am not to sure what to choose hpo i made the right one

Remove Bollywood movies from showing.
Hi All, I'm using the nightlies downloads : Kodi v18 "Leia" nightly for Kodi - 64bit. The last few downloads have changed my movie results. I'm seeing a lot of Bollywood movies.
How do I remove these movies? What setting will remove any foreign from my view? Is it a repository that I should remove? Is there a setting?
